امیررضا در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل می کند. او یک برادر بزرگتر از خود دارد که دیپلمه است و باید به سربازی برود. پدر و مادر متارکه کرده اند و مادر سرپرستی دو فرزند خود را به عهده گرفته است. آنها در منزلی مستاجر هستند و مادر برای تامین مخارج همه جانبه زندگی و تحصیل دو فرزند محصل در تنگنای اقتصادی قرار دارد و از پس مخارج زندگی بر نمیاید. این خانواده نیازمبرم به حمایت مالی دارند
