شیما در مقطع دبستان با نمرات خیلی خوب تحصیل می کند. او یک خواهر بزرگتر که سال آخر دبیرستان است و یک برادر بزرگتر که محصل دبیرستان میباشد دارد. پدر و مادر به دلیل مشکلات روانی و کتک زدن های پدر متارکه کرده و پدر فرزندان را به عمه شان سپرده بوده است اما بعد از فوت پدر به دلیل تصادف عمه بچه ها را به مادر سپرده و مادر در حال اقدام قانونی برای بازگرداندن حق سرپرستی از سه فرزندش میباشد. آنها در منزل شخصی خود زندگی می کنند و مادر خانه دار است. این خانواده برای تامین مخارج زندگی و تحصیل سه فرزند محصل نیاز به حمایت مالی دارند.
